To give you the services you have asked for we may need to give information:
To members of your family or household, someone acting on your behalf or Landlords or Letting agents.
To register an appliance with the manufacturer to active the warranty we have to provide the address of where the boiler is installed.
If we deal with a 3rd party on your behalf e.g. a manufacturer, Insurance company, Transco
If we arrange for a 3rd party company or individual to carry out work at your property, agreed with you, e.g. Electrician, tiler, Manufacturers engineer.
To help prevent debt or fraud.
To transfer any unpaid debt to another organisation
For legal or regulatory purposes.
For future legal action.
We will never sell or pass on your personal details to other companies for marketing purposes and promise to keep your details safe and secure.
If you give us information on behalf of someone else, you are confirming that you have informed them of the information in this policy, and that they have agreed for their information to be used by us as described in this policy.
If you give us sensitive information about yourself or other people e.g. health details, you agree, and confirm that the person the information is about agrees, that we can use and record this information in the ways set out in this policy.
If we think that you, a person in your household, or someone living in a property you have asked us to visit on behalf of yourself or them, might need extra care (because of age, health, disability etc) we may contact a family member, friend, Landlord or a support organisation. If the situation arose that we felt we needed to contact a support organisation, like Social Services, a charity (e.g. Help the Aged) or health care, we will pass on your personal information if we think you ( or the person in the property) needs help.
We will keep your information for as long as you are a customer of ours.
For tax purposes we do need to keep our records for seven years.
You are entitled to have a copy of the information we hold on you and you can have any inaccurate information corrected.
